There are some great discounts on Powerline adapters for Black Friday 2021 and they are available now in both the US and UK.

Powerline adapters help you speed up your home network performance for faster TV streaming, gaming and Wi-Fi.

Read our features on What is Powerline and the Best Powerline Adapter for more details.

Best UK and US Powerline Black Friday deals

There are more Black Friday Powerline adapter deals in the UK than the US at the time of writing, but some of our favourites do have discounts in both countries.

Fastest

The Devolo Magic 2 Powerline & Mesh Wi-Fi Next starter kit (see below) is one of the fastest you’ll find and comes fully equipped with a Wi-Fi hotspot, up to two Gigabit Ethernet ports per adapter and passthrough sockets, plus it is Mesh-ready for larger homes. For Black Friday, the version with two Ethernet ports on the second-room adapter and one on the base unit is reduced from £174 to £129 from Amazon and Currys in the UK.

In the US, Amazon has $37 off the Devolo Magic 2, down from $185 to $148.

Budget passthrough sockets

Our favourite budget Powerline adapter starter kit with passthrough sockets is the TP-Link AV1000 TL-PA7017P KIT. This is available with 25% off, down from £49 to £37 at Amazon and Currys in the UK, and $10 off at $49 at Amazon in the US.

If you spend a little more you can get the same kit but with two Gigabit Ethernet ports on each adapter (handy if you have more than one smart device that requires a wired Internet connection), instead of one with the TP-Link AV1000 TL-PA7027P KIT, which has a 25% Amazon Black Friday discount from £59 to £44.

Budget

Currys has £10 off our recommended budget Powerline starter kit, TP-Link’s compact TL-PA7017. It lacks passthrough sockets and a new Wi-Fi hotspot, but for adding a simple wired connection to your needy smart device, it’s a very affordable solution. It’s down from £39 to £29. Amazon US has $10 off this great budget Powerline starter kit, as does B&H Photo.

Wi-Fi

An even better deal is the Tenda PH5 AV1000, which offers two Gigabit. Ethernet ports. And Wi-Fi on the second Powerline adapter. Amazon has a £10 off Black Friday deal from £39 to £29.

At the time of writing, there wasn’t a Black Friday deal on the Tenda PH5 in the US, although Amazon’s $59 price is still a bargain for a Wi-Fi Powerline.
